Do you do normal postage / meet ups?
We can do normal postage at your request but that would mean you risk losing your items through mail. Although Singpost does not have a reputation for doing so, we strongly advise you to opt for Registered mail.
We currently do not do any meet ups but will update the website when we do.
How much is the Registered post?
Registered mail is only $2.50 more then normal mail for non bulky items. For bulky items it will depend on the weight of the item.
What is the 'x 1.05' for in payment calculations?
The 'x 1.05' is for the 5% charge that our carrier charges us for using their service.
When will the spree close?
Each spree differs from another. We usually try to minimize costs by making use of the free domestic shipping from each site; this can range from $50-$100. So far mosts of our sprees close within 1-2weeks.
New sprees posted from May 2008 onwards will carry the spree closing date for ease of reference.
Are the goods subject to import taxes, duties and customs fees? / You will try to avoid the 7% GST right?Certainly! We will keep our spree-ers interests in mind and try not cross that $400 line per spree. However, due to overwhelming orders we may at times cross that limit. Please understand that when that happens we will keep you informed.
There will be no tax or duties when we keep to that limit.
Why didn’t you reply my email / tag?
We always reply your emails / tags within 48hrs. Please check your junk mail. It might have gone in there. For Hotmail users, please add the SG Sprees email address to your safe list; else our email will get rejected by Hotmail’s SPAM filter.
Do you allow fragrances for sprees?
Unfortunately those fall in the list of prohibited items by law. So we can't spree those items.
The list of prohibited items by law in force in the Republic of Singapore are, but not limited to:
chewing gum
chewing tobacco and limitation tobacco products
cigarette lighters of pistols or revolver shape
controlled drugs and psychotropic substances
firecrackers
obscene articles, publications, video tapes/discs and software
reproduction of copyright publications, video tapes, video compact discs, laser discs, records or cassette
seditious and treasonable materials
flammable or incendiary goods comprising: - perfumes / colognes / eau di toilette spray - nail polish / nail polish remover - spray / aerosal cans / compressed gas cylinders - fuels / gasoline / gas torches - lighters with fuel / lighter fluid - turpentine / paint thinner - lithium batteries - lithium batteries contained or pack with equipment - speakers
